This ceramic trinket dish is handmade in my Yorkshire studio and features a textured ginkgo design inspired by the tree in my garden. Each dish is crafted individually and finished in one of two colours — a soft green or a deep blue — both highlighting the raised Art Deco–influenced pattern. The rounded shape and cheerful glaze make it a practical little piece for everyday use.

Environmental considerations
My kiln is partly powered by electricity from solar panels on my roof, and I am on a 100 percent green energy tariff. The clay is sourced in the UK and my glaze materials come from local suppliers.
