This large butter dish is a perfect size for UK butter (250 grams) and a wonderful gift to a cook or as a housewarming gift. It is handmade in my studio in Yorkshire on my potters wheel and then altered to a more rectangular shape. It is perfect for leaving out on the kitchen counter as well as the fridge. 
I have glazed it with my stormy blue glaze which produces wonderful variegated hues of warm brown, blue and whites, no two items are ever the same.
All my ware is food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe.

Packaging and shipping
I am a packaging magpie, and will reuse and recycle bubble wrap, cardboard and all other materials suitable for making sure your item will arrive in pristine condition.
 
Environmental concerns:
I use electricity generated from solar panels on my roof to supplement my kiln and are on a tariff that is 100% green energy.
The clay I use is sourced from the UK and I buy my glaze materials from local UK suppliers.
