This handmade wax burner is wheel‑thrown on my potter’s wheel, starting as a cylinder that I shape into its distinct rounded belly. Once the clay firms up, I add the top section, cutting it with a cookie cutter and forming a smooth well to hold wax melts or essential oils. When the piece dries a little more, I cut the opening for the tealight and additional vents to give the candle enough oxygen to burn safely.Made from durable stoneware clay, each burner is finished in my signature layered rutile blue glaze, giving every piece a unique, softly variegated surface. Perfect for cosy evenings, this handmade wax burner fills your home with gentle fragrance and warm light.
Dimensions: ca 11 cm high
ca 8 cm diameter
How to:
Fill the well with water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil or use a wax melt. Place a tea-light inside and light to fill your room with fragrance.
Safety Instructions:
Please enjoy your tealight housewax burners safely — if used with real wax candles, the ceramic becomes hot during use, so please place it on a heat‑resistant surface, keep it away from anything flammable and never leave it unattended. Allow it to cool fully before touching or moving.
Caring instructions: Wipe clean if and when necessary.
Packaging and shipping: I reuse and recycle bubble wrap, cardboard and any suitable materials to make sure your piece arrives safely while keeping waste to a minimum.
Environmental considerations: My kiln is partly powered by solar panels on my roof, and I’m on a 100% green‑energy tariff
