This stoneware vase in my Stormy Blue glaze is part of a trio I threw in my Yorkshire studio. Each one shares the same clean, simple teardrop form, but the glaze fires differently every time, shifting from deep ocean blue to warm brown where it breaks over the rim. No two vases are ever identical, and that’s exactly what makes small‑batch stoneware special.

The form is balanced and versatile: perfect for a few stems, dried flowers, or simply as a sculptural piece on a shelf. The Stormy Blue glaze pools beautifully around the belly of the vase where it is applied thickly, which gives each vase its own character.

If you’re choosing between the three, you’ll see subtle differences in the glaze pattern and shape, pick the one that speaks to you, or collect the full trio for a harmonious set.
