These timeless porcelain star decoration are handmade using the traditional Japanese pottery technique that combines multiple colored clays to create intricate, marbled patterns that run all the way through the material. After drying carefully to keep them flat, they are fired to 1060 degree C and glazed with my homemade transparent glaze to 1220 degree C. Once out of the kiln, I added a Mother of Pearl lustre and fired it again in my electric kiln to 730 degree C to achieve the luxurious sparkle. 

Each one is individuall and no two are ever the same perfect as a gift  or to add to your Christmas decoration.

Packaging and shipping  I am a packaging magpie and will reuse and recycle bubble wrap, cardboard, and all other materials suitable for making sure your item will arrive in pristine condition.

Environmental concerns: I use electricity generated from solar panels on my roof to supplement my kiln and are on a tariff that is 100% green energy.
